"PUTREFACTION"

PUTREFACTION is an Indonesia death metal band from Semarang, Central Java.

Formed in 1999-2000 at Semarang city, by Imam Sofyan (guitarist) & Lucky Dwi Hantoro (guitarist).

Later Bobby Wahyu Nurcahyo (drummer), Andre (bassist) and Widiyono (vocalist) was joined into this band.

The band is known for their outspoken social political views, and for being a part of the few death metal bands who follow a political nature.

Exactly about what i see, what i feel and what i know about social, political and LIFE!

The band's sound is characterized by blast beats, complex groovy riffs.

Yes, many influenced like Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, even Devourment.

Year by year we attacked metal events in town, even out of town.

And years gone by, Bobby went out and was helped by Yossi of Brain Ass in several years ahead.

Not for long time he was back. And in 2008 Andre was died.

Really these are a hard moment for us. Stay together in band, line up was changed.

In 2004 the band was one of many Semarang's metal bands in 'Semarang Metal faces' compilation album, released by 66KM Music Production.

Till now we was created several killer songs such as Enslaved By Technology, Putrefy On Putrefaction,

[Trapped Inside], Mission:Vengeance, The Unsymetric Creatures.
